Frequently Asked Questions
Yoga offers a wide range of benefits, from improving flexibility and joint health to reducing stress and enhancing mindfulness. It also helps boost self-awareness, resilience, personal growth and focus. At its core, yoga is a gentle, holistic approach to taking care of your body and mind and it can be embraced by anyone, no matter their background or beliefs.
You don't need to bring anything to a Yoga class. Just come with an open mind and a willingness to practice. Yoga mats and any necessary props will be provided by the studio for your convenience.
Our prenatal yoga classes are designed specifically for people in their 2nd and 3rd trimesters, usually when the body has settled into pregnancy and movement can feel more comfortable.
During the first trimester, your body is undergoing rapid hormonal changes, increased fatigue, and a period of higher medical caution. Because this stage of pregnancy can vary greatly from person to person—and because rest is often more appropriate than structured exercise—we do not offer yoga classes during the first trimester!
By the 2nd and 3rd trimesters, most people:
Feel more energy and stability
Have received medical confirmation that their pregnancy is progressing normally
Benefit most from pregnancy-specific movement, breathwork and postural support
This allows us to safely focus on:
Pregnancy-appropriate strength and mobility
Breathwork to support pregnancy and birth
Modifications that reflect the physical changes of a growing belly
A shared class experience where everyone is at a similar stage

Practising yoga outdoors allows the body to connect with the environment and become more aware of the surrounding; listen to the sounds of nature, such as birds, wind, etc.. One can sense smell and temperature and relax in fresh air. Outdoor Yoga allows us to use our 5 senses on a deeper level. All these features provide us with a holistic approach to understand the human as part of nature and become more relaxed and centred. Unlike an air-conditioned artificial room environment, an open setting allows the practitioner to be in 'the real world'.
