Welcome to Shala of Yoga!
My name is Katharina and I’m a qualified Yoga Teacher for both adults and children and have been deeply immersed in yoga for many years. My journey with yoga began from a very personal place. As a teenager, I faced ongoing health challenges that left me feeling physically and emotionally disconnected. Over time, yoga and mindfulness became the tools that helped me rebuild that connection to regain strength, find stillness and approach life with greater clarity and self-compassion. Yoga truly helped me refocus and heal.
A decade on, I understand the pressures of a fast-paced, high-demand lifestyle, having come from demanding professional roles myself. This lived experience shapes my approach—I know how vital it is to have a practice that restores balance and resilience, especially when life feels overwhelming.
I offer clear, gentle guidance and always invite you to honour your own pace. Everyone is different, and every day is different—your practice should reflect that. With a strong focus on mindful movement, safe alignment and body awareness, each session encourages you to move in a way that feels right for you.
